38/18 II Band Saw

Peddinghaus 38/18 II Band Saw (40")
It’s not every shop that has a limited edition Peddinghaus 40″ band saw signed by its maker, the famous Italian engineer, Luigi Gernetti. Purchased right off the floor at the Peddinghaus Octoberfest in 1998, this saw cuts through structural steel like it were a tender steak. In tandem with the Peddinghaus BPL1000, Frank Horney (aka The Beam Meister) typically uses this the saw to cut off the rough mill end of a piece of steel to provide a square cut end to enter the BPL and, thus, provide accurate hole dimensions.
